Afghanistan launches attack on foreign tourist

A group of suspected militants have attacked a convoy carrying a foreign tourist in western Afghanistan,leaving six injured.

The injured foreign tourists included eight Britons, Three US Citizens, One German.also injures one Afghan driver.

The identity of the armed men still remain unknown although investigation is leading to the Taliban, who have stepped up attacks right across the country.

An eyewitness who wants his name undisclosed said the attack took place in the Chesht-e-Sharif district on the road to Herat city.
