Efcc denies Ayo Fayose's aides bail
The Economic and Financial Crimes
Commission (EFCC) has described the bail
granted an aide to the governor of Ekiti
state Ayo Fayose as “shocking” .
The spokesperson to the EFFC Wilson
Uwujaren said the commission will appeal
the ruling of an Abuja High Court judge
Adeniyi Olukayode on the detention of
Abiodun Agbele.
Uwujaren said the judge’s conclusion on
the matter is “curious” against the
background of the information made
available to the court which included the
fact that the suspect was being held with
a valid remand warrant from a Magistrate
Court in Lagos.
