LASU suspends student for possesing india hemp
The institution’s action was published in an internal bulletin made available to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Sunday in Lagos.
The student was suspended by Professor Olanrewaju Fagbohun, the vice- chancellor, in line with the powers conferred on him by section 28 of the law establishing the institution.
According to the bulletin, the suspension will subsist until the student, whose name was not given, appears before a disciplinary committee of the university to defend himself.
The report said the institution’s security men apprehended the student on May 3, 2016, with the suspected substance.
